1974 Honda CB550K Lucy by Hot Sake Cycles 1
Hot Sake Cycles in Orlando, Florida, and more specifically, a slick biology teacher named Shannon Hulcher, are behind this custom café racer. Shannon calls her ”Lucy,” and she’s an ultra lightweight bike that’s probably a blast and a half to ride. The project started with a stock ’74 Honda CB550K before everything was stripped down. The 550cc SOHC inline four engine was reconditioned and tuned, and the original CB550 tank was upgraded to a Legendary Motorcycles Lyta Sprint tank.

Lucy runs on Lester mag wheels (19″ X 2.15 on the front and 18″ on the back), with 13.5” remote reservoir alloy shocks to smooth things out. The fiberglass seat is handmade, and carbon fiber even makes a few appearances, with the front and rear fenders, as well as — uniquely enough — in the battery tray. Pretty cool Bio teacher, eh?
